The National Center for Research and Development of Materials Science and Engineering aims to empower and create a leading and comprehensive scientific center in the field of materials and metallurgy. Achieving self-sufficiency in the production of materials used in industry and solving challenges and obstacles is one of the most important goals of this center. Another goal is to establish a reference laboratory as one of the pillars of the main body of materials for the development of power plants. Carrying out research projects and providing educational services in the field of engineering and materials technology are among the main activities of this center. The center also provides laboratory services in the fields of materials engineering and metallurgy, mechanical and physical properties, corrosion and surface engineering, ceramics and advanced materials.
